Creativation is happening right now so, naturally, I’ve been gorging myself on YouTube watching all the new release products shipping to retailers between now and the end of Spring. Here are things I’ve put on my wish list thus far:
Tonic Studios, Tim Holtz Media Mat
This mat is tempered glass. The black side is big enough for a 12 x 12 paper and the white side is for your pallet or messes. I love my little glass mat - it might be 8 x 12 or 10 x 12. What I love about tempered glass is the triple threat: it’s a cutting surface (an Xacto knife dream), non-stick, and heat resistant. I have used glass from a cheap picture frame for my messy stuff in the past but it is not heat resistant and it is very brittle.

We R Memory Keepers Label Maker
Ever since I saw Prairie Paper and Ink use her dad’s old, manual label maker, I wanted one. I’m not in love with the electronic ones that require both tape AND ink. The old ones push the letters in which spreads the tape to leave a white, raised impression. Well, WeR has answered that call!

We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced
Here’s another stamp press on the market. Looks drool worthy but I’ll wait the hear reviews from users on the peg precision. What I love about this press is that they are selling additional top plates separately. You can load up every part of assembly line stamping on a different plate and have at it. You can also use the top plate independently of the peg base. It has low profile rubber feet that depress. I had the old Fiskars press with foam feet. The foam feet are so wiggly, so I never use it. I am EAGERLY looking forward to seeing more about this tool! I love what my MISTI lets me do and use it a lot but I find myself wishing I had more places to keep stamps in position longer for my classes rather than having to switch them out per project. Multiple top plates would solve this problem perfectly.

There’s still more show going on, but those are my top 3 new tool wants so far! What are you loving about the show?
