Just a quick post today. Typically August is very busy for me on the workfront, so I haven't been crafting lately. Today, I'm showing you the crafty handiwork of one of my workshop attendants. We had done a micro-fine glitter workshop and one of the items we made was a tea bag holder. She used this shape to make a whole bunch of bridal shower favours for a shower she was planning for a friend's daughter (I hope I got that connection right).
Anyway, here is her wonderful work:
She made them with all different butterfly embellishments with glitter accents and all different cardstock colours. They are held closed with ribbon.
On the inside, there is a very cute poem that reads:
If you wanted to use this poem, you could replace the line with proper names with: "Soon Bride and Groom will be one."
I love tea and butterflies are nice too. So, I love this project! Nicely done, Claire!

Cupid's work is almost done.
Soon Sarah and Doug will be "one".
But before that golden hour,
Enjoy a cup as a gift from her shower.

How lovely! What a great idea for a shower favor.
